Silkiner, Benjamin Nahum

Silkiner, Benjamin Nahum
(1882-1933)
   American Hebrew poet. He was born in Vikija, Lithuania. He went to the US in 1904 and later taught at the Teachers Institute of the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. He published texts for Hebrew schools, helped to produce an English-Hebrew dictionary and wrote narrative poetry.
